Onboarding

Working With Dermatology Billing Is As Easy As 1-2-3

We make it all about YOU!

Working with a dermatology-focused billing team should feel organized, supported, and manageable from the very beginning. The onboarding process is designed to move at a steady, thoughtful pace so nothing feels rushed, overlooked, or confusing.

Each new practice is assigned a dedicated onboarding team, including billing specialists and support staff, so there is clear accountability and consistent communication throughout the transition. Our in-house IT team also plays an active role in system setup, access coordination, and technical configuration to help ensure everything is established properly from the start.

We understand that changing billing is a big decision, and with that comes questions and sometimes hesitation. That is completely normal. From the first conversation through go-live, every step is handled with clear communication and attention to detail, so your practice feels supported — not handed off.

Most practices are already working within a Practice Management System when they make the decision to outsource billing, and we are very familiar with many of the most commonly used platforms in dermatology. We regularly work with a wide range of systems, including those featured on our homepage, and are comfortable adapting to the setup your practice already has in place.

If you are currently using a system that fits your workflow, we do everything possible to work within it so the transition feels smoother and less disruptive for your staff. If a change is needed, we help guide that decision based on what will best support your practice long-term. Once access is established and everything is properly set up, the billing process can often begin within a few weeks, depending on availability and readiness. The focus is always on building a strong foundation first so the transition feels steady, organized, and well-supported from the start.

This has always been more than just a phrase to us. We have never believed in taking on more new business than we can properly support, especially when it comes to onboarding. Transitions take time. They take attention. And they take real, hands-on involvement. Whether you are moving from in-house billing or another billing company, there are details to work through and questions that naturally come up along the way. From the moment an agreement is signed, leadership and onboarding support stay involved, helping guide your practice through the “getting ready to go live” process step by step. You are not handed off and left to figure things out. You are walked through it, with people who understand how important it is to feel steady and supported during a change like this.

Training is an important part of helping your staff feel comfortable and prepared. We hold go-live meetings to walk through scheduling, patient demos, and insurance input so your team understands what to expect and how everything fits into their daily workflow. Questions are encouraged, and nothing feels rushed.

Support during go-live may be provided virtually or, when appropriate, on-site depending on the needs of the practice and location. The goal is to make sure your team feels confident and supported, with clear guidance as the new process becomes part of the normal day-to-day routine.

Training is conducted through structured virtual sessions, allowing your staff to receive as much guidance as needed to feel comfortable with scheduling, patient demographics, and insurance information. Additional support is provided during go-live to ensure questions are addressed and workflows are clearly understood. The format of that support — virtual or on-site — is determined based on the specific needs of the practice.
